Información

Specklinia endotrachys

A miniature species from the cloud forests of Central America, producing successive small flowers on slender, wiry inflorescences that bloom one at a time over an extended period. The flowers are delicate and translucent, with narrow, spreading sepals and a tiny, well-defined lip, characteristic of the fine-textured floral structure typical of the Pleurothallidinae alliance.

  • Light: Low to medium indirect light with 70–80% shade cloth; avoid any direct sun exposure.
  • Temperature: 50–68°F (10–20°C); a cool to intermediate grower that benefits from stable temperatures and good air movement.
  • Humidity: 80–90%; high humidity is essential for healthy growth and continuous blooming.
  • Watering: Keep the medium evenly moist at all times; never allow the fine roots to dry out.

Additional Notes

Best grown in fine sphagnum moss or mounted on cork bark with constant moisture and excellent air circulation around the small root system. Shipped bare root and well established.
