Descripción

A compact, caespitose species from the cloud forests of Ecuador, producing slender, branched inflorescences with numerous small flowers. Each bloom displays spreading sepals and petals with a trilobed lip bearing a distinctive orange-yellow callus at the center.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50–60% shade cloth; avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the narrow leaves.
  • Temperature: 59–77°F (15–25°C); an intermediate to warm grower that benefits from slight nighttime temperature drops.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; consistent moisture around the roots promotes vigorous growth and prolific flowering.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the mix to approach dryness between waterings; never allow the roots to remain waterlogged.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a fine bark or sphagnum moss mix in a small pot or mounted on cork bark to accommodate its compact root system. Ships bare root, well established, and ready to adapt to your growing conditions.
