Descripción

A delicate miniature orchid from the Andean cloud forests, producing slender, branched inflorescences with numerous tiny flowers. The narrow, linear sepals are slightly papillose along the margins, giving each bloom a fine-textured, almost bristled appearance.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun exposure, which can stress the thin, compact leaves.
  • Temperature: 50–68°F (10–20°C); a Cool grower that thrives in stable, cool conditions with a minimum of 45°F (7°C).
  • Humidity: 70–90%; mount or pot in a well-ventilated setup and mist regularly to maintain moisture around the roots.
  • Watering: Water frequently to keep roots evenly moist but never waterlogged; this species resents prolonged dryness.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or tree fern, or in a small basket with a fine, open mix (sphagnum or fine bark). Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
