Pleurothallis allenii

A refined miniature epiphyte from the cloud forests of Central and South America, bearing solitary flowers on slender stems alongside narrow, strap-like leaves. The erect lanceolate dorsal sepal and the two free, elongated lateral sepals form a clean, open tripartite structure with a silky, longitudinally veined texture — geometric and precise in its elegance.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can stress the narrow, upright leaves.
• Temperature: 54–72°F (12–22°C); an Intermediate to Cool grower that appreciates good air movement and moderate temperature drops at night. Minimum 48°F (9°C).
• Humidity: 70–90%; mount or grow in a small pot with a fine open mix to maintain moisture while ensuring excellent airflow around the roots.
• Watering: Water regularly to keep roots evenly moist; avoid prolonged dry periods between waterings.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork bark or in a small pot with a fine, well-draining mix. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
