This miniature, rare epiphyte is native to Ecuador, found in the cloud forests at elevations around 2000 meters. This tiny orchid is known for its incredibly small size and its distinctive, large flower in relation to the plant. It requires cool, very high-humidity conditions to thrive.
This species forms tight mats of incredibly small plants. The single flowers are large relative to the plant, often transparent or a light yellow-green color, with a distinctive, deeply veined lip.
Ha llegado bien empaquetada, con varas y flores.Se ve muy sana, preciosa.Una miniatura a tener en cuenta. Gracias
Received a nice sized, near specimen sized plants with a lot of spikes. Healthy, lost almost no leaves and has new roots and leaves coming. Very pleased with the plant I got.
Arrived with no leaf. I told that it may be frozen.
This one is a beauty, but it really doesn't seem to like travelling. It dropped all but two of its leaves within a couple of days of arrival. I thought I would lose it, but it appears to be settling into my terrarium and coming back as it has now made a new leaf. I hope it continues to recover and I will get to see its beautiful flowers for myself one day.
