Care Guide

• Light: Bright, indirect light or dappled shade; mimics the filtered light of its native cloud forest habitat.
• Water: Water when the top inch of substrate dries out; keep evenly moist without waterlogging.
• Temperature: Prefers cooler, stable conditions between 60-80°F (16-27°C), reflecting its cloud-forest origins.
• Humidity: Thrives with humidity above 60%; consistent moisture in the air keeps leaves healthy.
• Soil: Loose, well-draining aroid mix with bark, perlite, and coco coir.
• Support: Benefits from a moss pole or trellis as it matures, encouraging fuller, more developed leaves.

With cool, humid conditions and a little patience, Philodendron nanegalense cf settles in beautifully, offering a distinctive taste of Ecuador's cloud forests in your own collection.
