A primary hybrid of Onc. constrictum × Onc. alexandrae, two large-flowered Andean cloud forest species, this intermediate-growing orchid produces branching spikes with multiple large, star-shaped flowers with narrow, crenated segments and a trilobed lip with a vivid yellow callus. The bold mottling and windswept floral form give this primary hybrid an unmistakable wild elegance.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–50% shade cloth; avoid harsh midday sun, which can stress the broad, strap-like leaves.
• Temperature: 58–72°F (14–22°C); an intermediate grower that benefits from cool nights to encourage blooming.
• Humidity: 60–80%; maintain consistent humidity with good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
• Watering: Water thoroughly 1–2 times per week and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; avoid waterlogging the roots.
