Oncidium obryzatum

A floriferous epiphyte from the cloud forests of South America, producing long, highly branched spikes with numerous medium-sized flowers spread along slender, arching branches. The undulate sepals and petals have a lobed margin, while the very broad trilobed lip features a bilobed frontal lobe with a crenulate edge and a basal callus with dark spotting.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct midday sun, which can stress the pseudobulbs and foliage.
• Temperature: 61–82°F (16–28°C); a warm grower that thrives with stable temperatures and good air circulation year-round.
• Humidity: 60–80%; consistent moisture supports vigorous growth and the production of long, multi-branched spikes.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; never allow roots to sit in standing water.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a medium bark mix or mounted on cork with excellent drainage and airflow. Plants are shipped bare root, well established, and ready to adapt quickly to their new growing environment.
