Descripción

An epiphytic species native to the cloud forests of Ecuador, producing tall, highly branched inflorescences densely packed with small flowers, each with narrow, elongated sepals and petals with outward-curving tips and a wide, bilobed, rounded lip. Its airy, spider-like floral structure and exceptionally floriferous, multi-branched habit create a striking cloud of blooms when in full flower.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the strap-like leaves.
  • Temperature: 55–75°F (13–24°C); thrives as an intermediate grower with a moderate nighttime temperature drop to encourage blooming.
  • Humidity: 55–75%; moderate humidity with good air circulation supports healthy growth and prevents fungal issues on the dense inflorescences.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the mix to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged saturation at the roots.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a well-draining bark-based mix in a pot or basket. Plants are shipped bare root, well established, and ready to adapt to your growing conditions.
