Oncidopsis Anahi Carchi

This beautiful orchid hybrid, registered by Ecuagenera in 2025, is a cross between Oip. Yellow Parade and Onc. Cholita Cuencana. The hybrid combines the best characteristics of its parents, resulting in a highly desirable orchid with a captivating floral display. Named in honor of Anahi Carchi, a valued member of the Ecuagenera team.

• Light: Prefers moderate, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, especially during midday hours, as this can scorch the leaves.
• Temperature: Thrives in intermediate temperatures. Ideal daytime range is 18-24°C (65-75°F), with a slight nighttime drop to 13-18°C (55-65°F). This temperature range promotes healthy growth and flowering.
• Humidity: Requires high humidity between 60-80%. Excellent air circulation is essential to prevent fungal issues in humid conditions.
• Watering: Demands consistent moisture. The potting medium should never dry out completely. Water thoroughly and frequently, ensuring good drainage to avoid waterlogged roots.

The striking flowers of this orchid feature velvety, ruffled crimson-red petals with bright yellow-orange centers. It blooms for an extended period, with multiple flowers on arching stems.
