This primary hybrid combines Masd. davisii with Masd. rex, producing vibrant flowers with rich coloration and the robust characteristics of both parent species.

  • Light: Bright indirect light to partial shade; avoid direct sunlight. East-facing windows or shaded greenhouse conditions are ideal.
  • Temperature: Daytime 59-72°F (15-22°C), nighttime 50-59°F (10-15°C).
  • Humidity: 70-85% with excellent air circulation.
  • Watering: Keep media consistently moist. Water frequently during active growth, reducing slightly in cooler months without allowing complete drying.

Additional Notes

This hybrid combines the brilliant yellow flowers of Masd. davisii with the impressive size and form of Masd. rex. The result is a striking orchid with vibrant blooms. Best grown mounted or in small pots with fine bark mix or sphagnum moss.
