Masdevallia coccinea 'Crestwood' Am/ Rhs Culture

Masdevallia coccinea 'Crestwood' Am/ Rhs is a cool-growing orchid species of the genus Masdevallia, grown and propagated at our nurseries in Ecuador.

  • Light: Low to moderate diffused light with good air movement.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 15-24 °C (59-75 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 10-15 °C (50-59 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: High humidity (70-85%) with constant gentle air movement, much like its cloud-forest conditions, keeps the plant healthy and prevents fungal spots.
  • Watering: Keep evenly moist at all times; these plants have no pseudobulbs and resent drying out.
