Libidibia glabrata

A tropical tree native to the dry and seasonally dry forests of South America with bipinnate compound leaves composed of small, oval-rounded leaflets arranged along slender, horizontally spreading branches. It develops a single erect trunk with smooth grayish bark and produces upright spike inflorescences at the branch tips.

• Light: Full sun to bright indirect light; thrives in open, unshaded conditions and tolerates intense tropical sun.
• Temperature: 65–95°F (18–35°C); a warm tropical grower that does not tolerate frost.
• Humidity: 40–70%; adaptable to a wide range of humidity levels, including seasonally dry conditions once established.
• Watering: Water regularly during the growing season; allow the substrate to dry out between waterings. Drought-tolerant once established.
• Growth Habit: Upright tropical tree with a single erect trunk, smooth grayish bark, and horizontally spreading branches bearing bipinnate leaves with small oval leaflets. Produces erect spike inflorescences at branch tips.
