Lepanthopsis hirtzii

Lepanthopsis hirtzii is a miniature epiphytic orchid prized for its compact habit and intricate botanical detail. Best appreciated at close range, it fits beautifully into mounted displays, humid cabinets, ventilated terrariums, and specialized collections where its delicate growth can be observed closely.

Care Guide

• Light: Provide low to medium filtered light and protect the delicate foliage from direct sun.
• Water: Keep the roots evenly and lightly moist with clean water, avoiding both prolonged dryness and stagnant saturation.
• Humidity: Maintain high humidity with gentle, continuous air movement around the leaves and roots.
• Temperature: Grow in cool to intermediate conditions and protect the plant from prolonged heat, cold drafts, and abrupt temperature changes.
• Growing medium: Mount with a small amount of moisture-retentive material or use a tiny container with fine, airy orchid media that drains freely.

With soft filtered light, reliable moisture, high humidity, and gentle moving air, Lepanthopsis hirtzii can form a refined miniature specimen rich in subtle character.
