Lepanthes felis x Lepanthes Andean Flame

A striking hybrid of Lths. felis × Lths. Andean Flame. It produces large, showy flowers with a broad erect triangular dorsal sepal forming a prominent hood, lateral sepals curving downward into elongated divergent tails, and a large, prominent bilobed labellum in a bold butterfly-like shape at the center, all with a finely granular texture.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can damage the delicate foliage.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an Intermediate grower that benefits from good air circulation and stable temperatures.
• Humidity: 75–90%; maintain consistently high humidity — ideal for terrariums or humid intermediate setups.
• Watering: Water frequently to keep the medium evenly moist; avoid prolonged dryness, as Lepanthes roots are sensitive to dehydration.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Its large, architecturally bold flowers make it one of the most visually impactful Lepanthes hybrids for terrarium culture. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
