A floriferous hybrid of Lths. elegantula × Lths. escobariana. It produces successive flowers with a broad ovate-lanceolate outline, fused sepals forming a continuous amber-gold surface shading to purple-brown at the center, prominent bilobed coral-orange petals, and an elongated pendant pink-mauve labellum.
-
Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the delicate foliage.
-
Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an Intermediate grower that benefits from good air circulation and stable temperatures.
-
Humidity: 75–90%; maintain consistently high humidity — ideal for terrariums or humid intermediate setups.
-
Watering: Water frequently to keep the medium evenly moist; avoid prolonged dryness, as Lepanthes roots are sensitive to dehydration.
Additional Notes
Best grown mounted on cork or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Its compact size and richly colored flowers make it an excellent terrarium subject. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
