Descripción

A compact epiphyte native to Ecuador, producing multiple flowers simultaneously on short scapes from distinctly mottled pseudobulbs. The lanceolate sepals and petals spread horizontally, framing a small lip with a prominent white column.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can stress the foliage.
  • Temperature: 58–78°F (14–26°C); an intermediate-warm grower that tolerates a wide temperature range with good air movement.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; consistent humidity supports vigorous growth and prolific blooming.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the mix to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged saturation at the roots.

Additional Notes

Ships bare root and well-established — pot promptly upon arrival in fine bark mix and water generously to rehydrate the roots. Best grown in a small pot or mounted on cork bark.
