A striking epiphytic clubmoss from the cloud forests of South America, producing dense, pendulous tassels of bright green, needle-like leaves that cascade elegantly from baskets or mounts. It is prized as a living ornamental for its architectural form and lush, evergreen texture.
Additional Notes
Best grown mounted on cork or tree fern, or in a hanging basket with live sphagnum moss. Ships bare root, well-established. Grown at Ecuagenera, Ecuador.

Lovely plant! Arrived healthy and happy.
But species is probably Phlegmariurus firmus or unguiculatus (For me I think is even better than hystrix).
Thank you so much, Jim! We're thrilled to hear your plant arrived healthy and in great condition — and even more so that you’re enjoying it! We truly appreciate your keen observation regarding the species identification. Phlegmariurus firmus or unguiculatus are both fascinating, and we’re glad to hear you find them even more interesting than hystrix.
We’ll be sure to pass along your note to our team for review. Thank you again for your thoughtful input and your continued support!
Best regards,
Ecuagenera Team.
