Información

Hoya dimorpha

An epiphytic vining species from the tropical forests of Southeast Asia with oval-elliptic, semi-succulent leaves and slender, twining stems that readily climb or trail along a support. It produces persistent peduncles along mature stems from which successive flower clusters emerge.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the fleshy leaves.
  • Temperature: 60–82°F (16–28°C); thrives as a warm to intermediate grower with stable, frost-free conditions.
  • Humidity: 50–70%; moderate to high humidity supports vigorous stem extension and leaf development.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly, then allow the substrate to dry out significantly between waterings; never let roots sit in standing water.
  • Growth Habit: Twining epiphytic vine with semi-succulent, oval-elliptic leaves on slender stems. Develops persistent peduncles on mature growth — never remove them, as they rebloom season after season.
