Episcia corrugada

Episcia corrugada is a compact, terrestrial species from the African Violet family (Gesneriaceae). It is cherished for its intense, velvety, emerald green foliage and small, bright orange-red flowers. It is an excellent plant for terrariums or small pots.

• Temperature: This warm-growing plant thrives in consistent temperatures between 68-86°F (20-30°C). Avoid cold drafts.
• Humidity: High humidity (60% or more) is crucial for this plant to thrive and prevent dry edges.
• Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Allow the top surface to feel slightly dry before watering. Use lukewarm water.

Additional Notes

Features beautiful, heavily corrugated and puckered emerald green leaves with a velvety texture and reddish-purple undersides. It produces "stolon" runners that allow it to spread. Small, solitary orange-red tubular flowers with yellow throats emerge from the leaf axils, providing a striking contrast to the dark foliage.
