Descripción

A miniature creeping epiphyte from the Andean cloud forests of South America, forming compact clusters of short stems densely covered with narrow, cylindrical, succulent-textured leaves. Tiny star-shaped flowers emerge from the stem tips, each displaying broad, rounded, evenly spreading sepals and petals alongside a small lip with a punctiform yellow-green callus at its center.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; the succulent-textured foliage tolerates slightly lower light levels well.
  • Temperature: 54–75°F (12–24°C); an intermediate grower that adapts well to stable conditions with moderate night temperature drops.
  • Humidity: 65–85%; good air movement around the compact stems and roots helps prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; the succulent-textured leaves tolerate brief dry periods well.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a shallow, well-draining bark mix; its compact, succulent habit also makes it an excellent candidate for terrarium and vivarium setups. Plants are shipped bare root and well established, ready to adapt quickly to their new growing environment.
