Prosthechea citrina Culture

One of the Prosthechea species we grow at Ecuagenera, Prosthechea citrina does best under intermediate conditions.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light, out of direct midday sun.
  • Temperature: It prefers days of 20-28 °C (68-82 °F) and cooler nights around 15-20 °C (59-68 °F).
  • Humidity: Aim for 60-80% humidity year-round, always paired with good air circulation.
  • Watering: Water regularly during active growth, allowing the medium to begin drying between waterings. Reduce slightly during the cooler months.
