Descripción

A miniature epiphyte from the tropical forests of Southeast Asia, producing small solitary flowers with an upright dorsal sepal, horizontally spreading lateral sepals, and a vivid orange labellum that contrasts sharply with the darker tepals. It grows with a neat, creeping habit and small, well-spaced pseudobulbs each bearing a single glossy, ovate leaf.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can stress the small pseudobulbs.
  • Temperature: 58–75°F (14–24°C); an Intermediate grower with a minimum tolerance around 55°F (13°C).
  • Humidity: 75–90%; keep humidity consistently high and ensure good air movement around the roots.
  • Watering: Water frequently during active growth, keeping the medium slightly moist; avoid prolonged dryness, which can stress the small root system.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or tree fern, or in a small shallow basket with a fine, open bark mix. Its compact size makes it ideal for terrariums or high-humidity growing setups. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
