Brassia Rex x Oncidium macranthum Culture

Brassia Rex x Oncidium macranthum is an orchid hybrid of the genus Brassia, grown at our nurseries in Ecuador. It grows best in intermediate-cool conditions.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light, out of direct midday sun.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 18-26 °C (64-79 °F) with cooler nights of 12-18 °C (54-64 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: Moderate to high humidity (50-70%) with good air circulation helps keep the foliage healthy and prevents fungal problems.
  • Watering: Water regularly during active growth, allowing the medium to begin drying between waterings. Reduce slightly during the cooler months.

Additional notes: Grown from our own stock at Ecuagenera. Plants are shipped bare-root with a phytosanitary certificate.
