i bought an forgetii white stripes, and a warocqueanum and was unsure of what to expect having plants imported from so far away. there was no extra import fees it seems (or they are baked into lisa price) and fair shipping prices for the distance traveled. overall price was better than most other ways of getting these species via mail, as they aren’t available in my area. value for money is definitely worth it considered i got healthy plants that have plenty of healthy leaves and have been adjusting well to my ikea. greenhouse! packaging seemed to be good and no damage came to them because of this, however they were shipped with moss around roots which i know is normal and practical to ensure they don’t dehydrate, but just a personal dislike for growing roots in that medium. only a little bit of rot on roots, i have found that every anthurium i’ve ever gotten has had a tiny amount because of how their thick roots can break at their ‘joints’ and then get severed from the rest of the plant. they came dirty on the leaves, possibly with pest, but gave them a high pressure wash with water, wiped down with gloves, and sprayed with insecticide and quarantined in case. i know that imported plants are supposed to be fumigated or something like that, but i wanted to make sure. pests may be able to hitch a ride when they are at the processing facility in the states. i will absolutely use this website again and have been recommending to friends! i would love to have other plants shipped to see what other beautiful plants they have! overall i think great deal for getting plants shipped thousands of miles away!
