Anthurium villenaorum x Anthurium nigrolaminum 'Gigi' is an Anthurium aroid hybrid grown at our nurseries in Ecuador. Like most of its genus it appreciates intermediate-to-warm conditions and steady, attentive care.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light. Direct sun can scorch the velvety foliage.
  • Temperature: It prefers days of 22-30 °C (72-86 °F) and cooler nights around 18-22 °C (64-72 °F).
  • Humidity: High, stable humidity (70-85%) keeps the foliage in top condition; a humidifier or grouping plants together helps in dry rooms.
  • Watering: Water when the top of the substrate starts to dry; the mix should stay lightly moist, never waterlogged.
