Aglaonema 'Yanhuo' is a striking tropical hybrid from the Araceae family, whose name means "fireworks" in Chinese — a fitting tribute to its spectacular, flame-like foliage. A cultivar of the Chinese Evergreen, 'Yanhuo' features broad, glossy leaves with vivid splashes of red, orange, and pink radiating from the midrib against deep green margins, creating a dazzling, multi-toned display. As adaptable and easy to care for as all Chinese Evergreens, it brings an extraordinary burst of tropical color to any interior space.

Care Guide

• Light: Bright, indirect light preferred; tolerates lower light but develops the most vivid color in brighter conditions — avoid direct sun which can scorch the leaves
• Temperature: Intermediate to warm; ideal temperatures 18–28°C (65–82°F); protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C (59°F)
• Watering: Allow the top inch of soil to dry between waterings; water thoroughly then allow to drain well; avoid waterlogging which can cause root rot
• Humidity: Moderate to high humidity, ideally 50–70%; tolerates average indoor humidity but thrives with added moisture from a humidifier or pebble tray
• Substrate: Well-draining, rich potting mix with good aeration; a blend of peat or coco coir with perlite works well
