Aetheorhyncha andreettae is a rare and exquisite epiphytic orchid endemic to Ecuador, first described by Dodson (1984) in Icones Plantarum Tropicarum. Named in honor of the renowned Ecuadorian orchid botanist Father Angel Andreetta, this intermediate to warm-growing member of the Orchidaceae family (formerly placed in Chondrorhyncha) produces beautifully intricate flowers with the delicate, complex lip structure characteristic of its alliance. A true collector's orchid, it represents the extraordinary biodiversity of Ecuador's cloud forests.
Aetheorhyncha andreettae is a rare gem from Ecuador's cloud forests — a botanically significant and visually captivating orchid that honors one of Ecuador's greatest orchid pioneers. A true collector's treasure from Ecuagenera, grown with care in the heart of Ecuador.
