Descripción

A large, well-established clump of this selected cultivar from the Andean cloud forests, offered as a mature, multi-growth division ready to perform. The flowers display the genus’ hallmark architecture: thread-like antennal petals and dorsal sepal above a broad, densely spotted oval synsepal with a prominent column — produced successively from the base of the leathery, arching leaves.

  • Light: Moderate indirect light with 60–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can stress the foliage.
  • Temperature: 50–65°F (10–18°C); a cool grower requiring consistent cool conditions and good airflow.
  • Humidity: 70–85%; high humidity with strong air circulation prevents fungal issues.
  • Watering: Keep evenly moist at all times; no pseudobulbs means no drought tolerance.

Additional Notes

This cultivar blooms repeatedly throughout the year directly from the leaf axils. Best grown in a small pot with fine bark or sphagnum, or mounted with a moisture-retaining backing. Ships bare-root in excellent condition.
