Stelis guatemalensis (Big)

A vigorous miniature orchid from the cloud forests of Central America, forming a dense, grass-like clump of narrow, lanceolate leaves. It produces upright racemes bearing small, rounded flowers with a clean, delicate structure. This Big size specimen offers multiple growths and a robust root system, ideal for collectors seeking a more mature plant.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the narrow leaves.
• Temperature: 50–68°F (10–20°C); an intermediate-cool grower that benefits from cooler nights to stimulate blooming.
• Humidity: 70–85%; ensure good air movement to prevent fungal issues at high humidity levels.
• Watering: Water frequently and allow only a brief dry period between waterings; never let the fine roots dry out completely.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a fine bark and perlite mix or mounted on cork with a thin layer of moss. Ships bare root, well-established. The Big size includes a larger, multi-growth plant compared to our standard size.
