Dendrobium Jean Minet

A floriferous hybrid of Den. pentapterum × Den. vexillarius, two species from the Pacific region. It produces a compact, upright habit densely covered with narrow, linear-lanceolate leaves and an abundance of tubular-campanulate flowers in vivid orange-yellow tones that emerge along the stems simultaneously, creating a spectacular floral display.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 30–50% shade cloth; tolerates some morning sun, which intensifies bloom production without scorching the foliage.
  • Temperature: 50–68°F (10–20°C); an intermediate to cool grower that benefits from stable, mild temperatures and good air movement.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; consistent humidity supports healthy stem and leaf development between bloom cycles.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to dry slightly between waterings; never allow roots to sit in standing water.

Additional Notes

Offered as a well-established plant of approximately 7 cm, shipped bare root. Best grown in a small pot or basket with a coarse, well-draining bark mix and strong air circulation around the roots.
