Descripción

A floriferous miniature epiphyte native to the cloud forests of Ecuador, producing long, intricately branched spikes with numerous tiny flowers clustered in dense groups along fine secondary and tertiary rachises. The very small, ovate sepals and petals have a smooth texture, while the diminutive lip features a vivid contrasting orange central callus that draws the eye to each tiny flower.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can stress the delicate miniature growth.
  • Temperature: 61–82°F (16–28°C); a warm grower that thrives with stable temperatures and good air circulation year-round.
  • Humidity: 65–85%; high ambient moisture supports the fine root system and encourages the production of its intricate, multi-branched spikes.
  • Watering: Water frequently and avoid allowing the roots to dry out completely; never allow roots to sit in standing water.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a very fine bark mix to suit its compact root system and warm growing conditions. Plants are shipped bare root, well established, and ready to adapt quickly to their new growing environment.
