A cross between Masd. helgae and Masd. rex, this impressive hybrid combines the delicate patterning of helgae with the large, bold flowers of rex. Blooms are produced successively on upright stems, making it a standout specimen in any cool-growing collection.

  • Light: Moderate indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which causes rapid overheating and leaf damage.
  • Temperature: Cool grower. Daytime 60–68Β°F (15–20Β°C), nighttime 48–55Β°F (9–13Β°C); consistent cool temperatures are essential for long-term health and blooming.
  • Humidity: 70–85%; use a humidifier or terrarium setup with constant air movement to prevent rot.
  • Watering: Keep the medium evenly moist at all times; never allow roots to dry out completely, and water more frequently in warm periods.

Additional Notes
