A charming miniature species from the cloud forests of Ecuador, grown for its iridescent, glittering foliage as much as its flowers. The blooms emerge from the leaf axil and feature broad, translucent lateral sepals forming a rounded, globose cup, with a well-defined contrasting labellum and petals at the center.

• Temperature: 50–68°F (10–20°C); a cool grower with a minimum tolerance around 45°F (7°C).
• Humidity: 80–90%; maintain consistently high humidity with good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
• Watering: Keep roots evenly moist at all times; water frequently and avoid any prolonged dry periods.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork bark or in a small pot with fine sphagnum moss. Ships bare root, well-established.
