Lepanthes martineae

A captivating miniature species from the cloud forests of South America. It produces successive flowers with a broad, flat hood-like dorsal sepal, fused concave lateral sepals forming a bell-shaped structure, a densely pubescent surface throughout, and a complex labellum with contrasting petals at the center.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 60–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can damage the delicate foliage.
• Temperature: 50–65°F (10–18°C); a Cool grower that requires stable, cool conditions and consistent air movement.
• Humidity: 80–95%; maintain high humidity at all times — ideal for cool terrarium setups.
• Watering: Water frequently to keep the medium evenly moist; never allow the fine roots to dry out completely between waterings.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Its compact habit and architecturally striking flowers make it an excellent terrarium subject. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
