Lepanthes georgii

A miniature species from the cloud forests of South America, producing successive flowers on wiry inflorescences that emerge from the leaf axil. Each bloom features acuminate triangular sepals with free tips, small bilobed petals with a yellow margin, and a prominent globose lip with a striking contrasting interior.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the delicate foliage.
• Temperature: 45–65°F (7–18°C); a Cool grower that thrives with cool nights and good air movement.
• Humidity: 80–95%; mount or grow in a well-ventilated cool enclosure and mist frequently to prevent desiccation.
• Watering: Keep roots consistently moist but never waterlogged; water daily when mounted, or every 1–2 days in fine sphagnum or bark mix.

Additional Notes

Its compact size and high humidity requirements make it an excellent candidate for terrarium or Wardian case cultivation with cooling. Best grown mounted on cork or tree fern, or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Ships bare root, well-established.
