Lepanthes calodictyon x Lepanthes reticulata

A hybrid of Lths. calodictyon × Lths. reticulata, inheriting the striking reticulated leaf patterning of both parents — broad, ovate leaves with an intricate network of contrasting veins that make this hybrid as ornamental in foliage as it is in flower. Small blooms emerge successively on slender ramicauls above the decorative canopy of leaves.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can fade the ornamental leaf patterning.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an Intermediate grower that appreciates moderate temperatures with a slight drop at night and good air circulation.
• Humidity: 75–90%; high humidity enhances the lush, layered growth habit and keeps foliage vibrant.
• Watering: Keep roots evenly moist; water frequently in small amounts with excellent drainage to prevent root rot.

Additional Notes

Excellent mounted on cork bark or tree fern to showcase its cascading growth habit, or grown in a net pot with fine sphagnum moss. A closed terrarium or enclosed glass container makes an excellent environment for this hybrid, though it can also thrive in any humid, well-ventilated setup. Ships bare root, well-established.
