Lepanthes calodictyon

A striking miniature species prized as much for its ornamental foliage as for its flowers, with leaves displaying a vivid reticulated venation pattern unique among pleurothallids. Successive tiny blooms emerge on slender ramicauls from the leaf axils, each flower featuring the characteristic fused lateral sepals and a delicate, fringed lip.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which fades the distinctive leaf patterning.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an intermediate-warm grower that adapts well to stable indoor conditions with moderate temperature swings.
• Humidity: 75–90%; high humidity is essential — use a humidity tray or enclosed terrarium setup for best results.
• Watering: Keep roots evenly moist at all times; water frequently in small amounts and never allow the medium to dry out completely.

Additional Notes

Ideal for terrarium or vivarium culture due to its compact size and high humidity requirements. Best mounted on cork or grown in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Ships bare root, well-established.
