Dracuvallia Blue Boy

A floriferous hybrid of Masd. uniflora × Drac. chimaera, combining the compact, prolific blooming habit of Masdevallia with the dramatic, tailed sepal structure of Dracula. The flowers are borne singly on upright inflorescences, with three broad, fused sepals tapering into elongated tails and a small, well-defined lip nestled at the center.

• Light: Low to medium indirect light with 70–80% shade cloth; avoid any direct sun exposure.
• Temperature: 50–68°F (10–20°C); a cool to intermediate grower requiring stable cool conditions and constant air movement.
• Humidity: 80–90%; high humidity is essential at all times for healthy growth and continuous blooming.
• Watering: Keep the medium evenly moist; never allow the roots to dry out between waterings.

Additional Notes

Best grown in fine sphagnum moss or a moisture-retentive bark mix in a small pot with excellent drainage and strong air circulation to prevent crown rot. Shipped bare root and well established.
