Descripción

A refined hybrid of Phrag. Hanne Popow × Phrag. anguloi, an Ecuadorian slipper orchid species, this intermediate-growing Phragmipedium produces elegant flowers with broad, softly rounded petals and a compact, neatly formed pouch with a luminous yellow throat and delicate rose tones. The graceful, arching inflorescence and refined floral form reflect the gentle elegance of its Phrag. anguloi parentage.

  • Light: Moderate indirect light with 50–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the strap-like leaves.
  • Temperature: 58–75°F (14–24°C); an intermediate grower that benefits from consistent cool nights to encourage reblooming.
  • Humidity: 70–85%; maintain high humidity with good air movement to prevent fungal issues around the crown.
  • Watering: Water frequently and keep the roots evenly moist at all times; Phragmipedium does not tolerate drying out between waterings.

Additional Notes

Grows well in fine bark, perlite, or a mix with sphagnum moss in a plastic or glazed pot that retains moisture. Ships bare root and well-established — roots are healthy and ready to adapt quickly to your growing conditions.
