Masdevallia Andean Angel

A beautiful hybrid between Masd. Gypsy and Masd. Susy de Bermeo that produces elegant flowers with distinctive form and tubular structure. The compact growth habit and successive blooming create an attractive display.

• Light: Bright indirect light to partial shade. Protect from direct sunlight which can scorch leaves.
• Temperature: Cool grower. Daytime 59-72°F (15-22°C), nighttime 50-59°F (10-15°C). Consistent cool temperatures are essential for healthy growth and flowering.
• Humidity: 70-85% with excellent air circulation. Good air movement is critical to prevent fungal and bacterial issues.
• Watering: Keep media consistently moist throughout the year. Water every 2-3 days depending on conditions, using pure water with low mineral content.

Additional Notes

This hybrid combines the vigor and floriferous nature of both parent hybrids, creating a rewarding plant for cool-growing collections. Best grown mounted on tree fern or cork bark, or in small pots with fine-grade bark mix or sphagnum moss.
