Combining Masd. Peppermint Rock with Masd. ignea creates this striking hybrid that showcases excellent floral form and vigorous growth. The compact habit and free-flowering nature make it particularly appealing for collectors seeking a rewarding intermediate-cool growing hybrid with consistent performance.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50-70% shade cloth protection. Avoid direct sunlight which can damage foliage.
  • Temperature: Intermediate-cool grower. Daytime 63-75°F (17-24°C), nighttime 54-63°F (12-17°C). Maintain a 10-12°F day-night differential for optimal blooming.
  • Humidity: 65-80% with good air circulation. Use humidity trays or humidifiers while ensuring adequate airflow to prevent disease.
  • Watering: Keep media consistently moist. Mounted plants need daily misting, potted specimens 3-4 times weekly. Reduce slightly in winter without allowing complete drying.

Named in honor of Evelina Serrano de Konanz. Best grown mounted on tree fern or cork bark, though adapts well to small pots with fine bark mix or sphagnum moss.
