Laeliocattleya Madrecita del Cisne (f. semialba x f. alba) is a Laeliocattleya orchid hybrid grown at our nurseries in Ecuador. Like most of its genus it appreciates warm-growing conditions and steady, attentive care.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light, out of direct midday sun.
  • Temperature: It prefers days of 25-32 °C (77-90 °F) and cooler nights around 20-24 °C (68-75 °F).
  • Humidity: Aim for 60-80% humidity year-round, always paired with good air circulation.
  • Watering: Water regularly during active growth, allowing the medium to begin drying between waterings. Reduce slightly during the cooler months.

Additional notes: The lowercase epithet 'alba' tells you this is the white color form of the species, distinct from its typical coloring - these selected forms are favorites among collectors.
