This stunning Venezuelan species is renowned for its large, fragrant flowers and vibrant coloration. The 'Camila' cultivar represents a select form of this classic species, prized by collectors for its exceptional flower quality and reliable blooming habit.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light. Place near an east or west-facing window with filtered sunlight, or provide 50-70% shade in greenhouse conditions.
  • Temperature: Intermediate to warm conditions, 18-29Β°C (65-85Β°F) during the day, with a 5-8Β°C (10-15Β°F) drop at night to encourage blooming.
  • Humidity: 60-80% relative humidity with good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the potting medium approaches dryness. Allow slight drying between waterings, reducing frequency during winter rest period.
