Dendrobium Martine Minet

This stunning miniature hybrid is a cross between Dend. vexillarius and Dend. violaceum. Both parents originate from high-elevation cloud forests in New Guinea. It is a compact, cane-like epiphyte, highly valued for its numerous, colorful, clustered flowers. It is excellent for terrariums.

• Light: Requires bright, filtered light. Brighter conditions encourage better blooming, but protect it from direct, intense sun.
• Temperature: An intermediate-growing hybrid. Maintain daytime temperatures between 60-80°F (16-27°C). A significant 10-15°F (6-8°C) night-time temperature drop is required to promote flowering.
• Humidity: High humidity is essential (70% or higher). Constant and strong air movement is vital to prevent fungal issues.
• Watering: Water frequently and consistently throughout the year. The medium must remain evenly moist and should never dry out completely.

The flowers from this hybrid are small and abundant, produced on short inflorescences that emerge from the canes. The blooms are typically vibrant, often featuring orange and red tones with a contrasting lip. It is a long-lasting bloomer, often flowering multiple times per year.
