Cycnoches Grafin Bettina

A primary hybrid combining Cyc. herrenhusanum and Cyc. peruvianum, with graceful pendulous racemes, waxy well-formed flowers, and robust elongated pseudobulbs. Notably fragrant, with a sweet, spicy scent most pronounced in the morning.

• Light: 50–60% shade cloth; bright indirect light encourages strong pseudobulb development and reliable blooming.
• Temperature: 60–82°F (15–28°C) — Intermediate to warm grower. A slight temperature drop in autumn helps initiate the dry rest period.
• Humidity: 60–80%. Moderate to high humidity during active growth; reduce slightly during the dry rest after leaves drop.
• Watering: Water freely during active growth (spring–summer); reduce significantly when pseudobulbs mature and leaves begin to drop. Resume when new growth emerges.

Additional Notes

Cycnoches hybrids are deciduous — leaf drop in autumn is normal and not a sign of stress. Best grown in well-draining bark mix. Shipped bare root, well-established.
