Anth. Portilla Dreams is an exceptional hybrid combining the best traits of Anth. magnificum and Anth. luxurians. This captivating cross creates a truly unique collector's piece that showcases the artistry of selective breeding in aroids.

  • Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight which can damage the delicate hybrid foliage. East or north-facing windows are ideal, or filtered light through sheer curtains.
  • Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 18-26Β°C (65-80Β°F). Consistent warmth promotes optimal growth and leaf development. Protect from cold drafts and temperature fluctuations.
  • Humidity: Requires high humidity levels of 60-80%. The hybrid nature benefits from consistent moisture in the air. Use a humidifier or group with other tropical plants.
  • Watering: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Maintain consistent moisture without waterlogging. Well-draining soil is essential for healthy root development.

Foliage Characteristics: Features large, heart-shaped leaves with a quilted texture due to their deeply impressed veins. The contrast between the deep green foliage and prominent white to pale green veins is very striking. The leaves have a beautiful coral-pink to orange petiole.
