This miniature species produces charming small flowers with distinctive tubular form and delicate coloration, making it a perfect choice for collectors who appreciate compact cool-growing orchids.

  • Light: Bright indirect light to partial shade; avoid direct sunlight. East-facing windows or shaded greenhouse conditions are ideal.
  • Temperature: Daytime 59-72Β°F (15-22Β°C), nighttime 50-59Β°F (10-15Β°C).
  • Humidity: 70-85% with excellent air circulation.
  • Watering: Keep media consistently moist. Water frequently during active growth, reducing slightly in cooler months without allowing complete drying.

Additional Notes

Native to Ecuador, this miniature species grows at elevations of 2,000-3,000 meters in cloud forests. Its compact size and charming flowers make it ideal for small growing spaces. Best grown mounted or in small pots with fine bark mix or sphagnum moss.
