A fragrant hybrid of Rlc. Waianae Leopard × C. tenebrosa, this warm-growing Cattleya alliance orchid produces one to two blooms per spike with broad, heavily textured petals and sepals bearing a distinctive spotted-to-striped pattern inherited from C. tenebrosa. The compact, ruffled lip provides a vivid contrast to the richly patterned floral segments.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–50% shade cloth; avoid harsh midday sun to protect the broad petals.
• Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C); a warm grower that benefits from a 10°F (5°C) night drop to encourage blooming.
• Humidity: 60–80%; maintain consistent humidity with a tray or misting, especially during dry seasons.
• Watering: Water thoroughly 1–2 times per week and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; good air circulation around the roots is essential.

Additional Notes

Thrives in a coarse bark mix or unglazed clay pot that promotes rapid drying between waterings.
