A hybrid of Rlc. Trudy Baker × C. Esbetts, this warm-growing Cattleya alliance orchid produces large, full-formed flowers with exceptionally broad, rounded petals and a wide, ruffled lip featuring a vivid orange-yellow throat. The blooms display excellent substance and a commanding presence typical of top exhibition-grade Cattleyas.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–50% shade cloth; avoid harsh midday sun to protect the broad petals.
  • Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C); a warm grower that benefits from a 10°F (5°C) night drop to encourage blooming.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; maintain consistent humidity with a tray or misting, especially during dry seasons.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; good air circulation around the roots is essential.
